Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Odessa Bulldogs (Odessa, MO), 63-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mount Pleasant upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Green Knights travel to Appoquinimink (West Middletown, DE) to play the Jaguars in a Blue Hen Flight - A bout on Thursday, February 9. The Jaguars come into the bout with a record of 11-4. Appoquinimink won 69-42 in their recent non-league bout against Tri-State Christian (Elkton, MD)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Harrisonville Wildcats (Harrisonville, MO) in a Missouri River Valley - West bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Odessa will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Wildcats come into the bout with a 8-9 record after their 68-50 league loss to Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO).
