Maryland High School Basketball - Southern can't hold off Northeast

The Northeast Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Southern Bulldogs to 52 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North County for a Anne Arundel County contest on Friday, February 10. Northeast will battle a Knights team coming off a 83-46 league loss to Glen Burnie (Glen Burnie, MD). The Knights record now stands at 1-12.
