South Dakota High School Basketball - Northwestern Area thwarts Webster

The Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) basketball knocked off the host Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD), 60-49 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Great Plains Lutheran went down by Deubrook (White, SD), 69-63, in a non-league test.
The Bearcats now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Leola/Frederick for a non-league test on Saturday, February 11. Webster will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 54-48 non-league loss to Jones County (Murdo, SD). The Titans record now stands at 8-8.
