Southern Regional Rams (Manahawkin, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ocean Township Spartans (Oakhurst, NJ), 54-53 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southern Regional upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Rams travel to Manchester Township (Lakehurst, NJ) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Hawks go into the game with a record of 1-5. Manchester Township lost 81-64 in their recent non-league game against Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ)

With the defeat, Ocean Township moves to 13-7 on the year.
