O'Neill Eagles (O'Neill, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Plainview Pirates (Plainview, NE), 86-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, O'Neill upgrades its record to 14-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Ord (Ord, NE) to clash with the Chanticleers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Chanticleers go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Ord won 37-35 in their recent league bout against Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Creighton Bulldogs (Creighton, NE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 10. Plainview will attempt to upgrade on its 6-16 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-9 record after their 57-46 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NE).
