The South Plainfield Tigers basketball team (South Plainfield, NJ), was nudged 48-46 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ)
The Red Devil now possess a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Essex for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 9. Ridge will confront a Knights team coming off a 62-59 non-league loss to Montclair (Montclair, NJ). The Knights record now stands at 13-5.
The Tigers (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against South River (South River, NJ). The Rams come into the non-league battle with a 21-2 record. In their last battle, South River edged Franklin (Somerset, NJ), 72-70, in a non-league battle.
