New York High School Basketball - Shaker can't hold off Schenectady

The Schenectady Patriots basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Shaker Bison to 61 in the Patriots non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Patriots now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Columbia for a Section 2 Suburban - Gray contest on Friday, February 10. Schenectady will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 63-49 non-league loss to Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-15.
The Bison (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY). The Brothers enter the Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Christian Brothers Academy nudged Troy (Troy, NY), 68-62, in a non-league contest.
