The St. Amant Gators basketball team (St. Amant, LA), was routed 96-56 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA)

The Wildcats now sport a 23-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Denham Springs for a 5A District 5 battle on Friday, February 10. Walker will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 72-62 league win over Dutchtown (Geismar, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 21-5.

The Gators (15-10) will now prepare for their battle against Live Oak (Watson, LA). The Eagles come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 7-15 record. In their last battle, Live Oak was routed by East Ascension (Gonzales, LA), 62-34, in a league battle.
