In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Steinert Spartans basketball team scored a tight 41-40 triumph over the Wall Township Crimson Knights.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Liberty Lions (Jackson, NJ) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 9. Steinert will attempt to move on its 7-14 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 2-14 record after their 67-47 non-league loss to Allentown (Allentown, NJ).
