Nebraska High School Basketball - Ansley/Litchfield holds off Arcadia/Loup City

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Ansley/Litchfield Spartans (Ansley, NE) and the host Arcadia/Loup City Rebels (Arcadia, NE), saw Ansley/Litchfield's basketball squad hold off Arcadia/Loup City by a tally of 37-32.

With the victory, Ansley/Litchfield improves its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Spartans host Anselmo-Merna (Merna, NE) to confront the Coyotes in a D2 District 7 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Anselmo-Merna lost 43-41 in their recent non-league challenge against South Loup (Arnold, NE)

Next up, the Rebels confront the Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Arcadia/Loup City will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Centurions come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 57-26 non-league win over Sutton (Sutton, NE).
