The Bergenfield Bears basketball team (Bergenfield, NJ), was overwhelmed 60-28 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Tenafly Tigers (Tenafly, NJ)
The Tigers now possess a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teaneck for a Big North - National battle on Thursday, February 9. Tenafly will confront a Highwaymen team coming off a 56-39 league loss to NV - Old Tappan (Old Tappan, NJ). The Highwaymen record now stands at 15-5.
The Bears (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against NV - Demarest (Demarest, NJ). The Norsemen come into the Big North - National battle with a 5-12 record. In their last battle, NV - Demarest was overwhelmed by Pascack Valley (Hillsdale, NJ), 50-32, in a league battle.
