Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Yutan Chieftains (Yutan, NE) and the host Bishop Neumann Cavaliers (Wahoo, NE), saw Yutan's basketball squad hold off Bishop Neumann by a tally of 49-43.

With the victory, Yutan improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Wakefield (Wakefield, NE) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 16-6. Wakefield won 46-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Winnebago (Winnebago, NE)

Next up, the Cavaliers play the Roncalli Catholic Crimson Pride (Omaha, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Bishop Neumann will attempt to improve on its 8-12 season record. The Crimson Pride come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 60-33 non-league loss to Bennington (Bennington, NE).
