The Cherryvale Chargers (Cherryvale, KS) basketball knocked off the visiting Caney Valley Bullpups (Caney, KS), 50-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Chargers (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Fredonia (Fredonia, KS). The Yellowjackets go into the test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Fredonia notched a victory over Humboldt (Humboldt, KS), 53-34, in a non-league test.
The Bullpups now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Dewey for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 14. Caney Valley will encounter a Bulldoggers squad coming off a 60-30 non-league loss to Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK). The Bulldoggers record now stands at 4-8.
