In Tuesday's league outing, the Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD), by a margin of 80-14.
The Yellowjackets (14-7) will now prepare for their outing against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD). The Hornets go into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing with a 11-7 record. In their last outing, Surrattsville smashed Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD), 70-23, in a league outing.
The Cavaliers now own a 0-14 record. They play next when they host Fairmont Heights for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A outing on Thursday, February 9. Crossland will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 63-19 league loss to Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD). The Hornets record now stands at 4-12.
