Davison Cardinals (Davison, MI) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Midland Chemics (Midland, MI), 46-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Davison upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Cardinals host Central (Bay City, MI) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league bout on Friday, February 10. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 2-15. Central won 49-45 in their recent non-league bout against Bay City Western (Auburn, MI)

Next up, the Chemics clash with the Lapeer Lightning (Lapeer, MI) in a Saginaw Valley bout, on Friday, February 10. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Lightning go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 62-18 league loss to Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).
