South Dakota High School Basketball - Sioux Valley trounces Deuel

The Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) basketball crushed the visiting Deuel Cardinals (Clear Lake, SD), 65-35 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cossacks (11-5) will now prepare for their test against West Central (Hartford, SD). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, West Central smashed McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD), 62-47, in a league outing.
The Cardinals now hold a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Hamlin for a A Region 2 outing on Thursday, February 9. Deuel will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 51-34 non-league win over Vermillion (Vermillion, SD). The Chargers record now stands at 16-0.
