Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) and the host Fort Collins Lambkins (Fort Collins, CO), saw Horizon's basketball squad hold off Fort Collins by a tally of 51-49.
With the victory, Horizon improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Legacy (Broomfield, CO) to confront the Lightning in a 6A Front Range challenge on Friday, February 10. The Lightning come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Legacy won 48-35 in their recent league challenge against Poudre (Fort Collins, CO)
Next up, the Lambkins confront the Poudre Impalas (Fort Collins, CO) in a 6A Front Range challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Fort Collins will attempt to improve on its 12-8 season record. The Impalas come into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 48-35 league loss to Legacy (Broomfield, CO).
