In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Southwestern Warriors basketball team scored a tight 52-51 triumph over the Franklin County Flyers.

In their next game, the Warriors meet the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 10. Southwestern will attempt to move on its 17-9 season record.

With the defeat, Franklin County moves to 20-6 on the year. The Flyers travel to Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY) to face the in a District 41 game on Thursday, February 9.
