Nebraska High School Basketball - Southern Valley crushes Gibbon

Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Gibbon Buffaloes (Gibbon, NE), 62-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Southern Valley upgrades its record to 17-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 9. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-15. Dundy County-Stratton lost 49-26 in their recent non-league bout against St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE)

Next up, the Buffaloes clash with the Ravenna Bluejays (Ravenna, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 9. Gibbon will attempt to upgrade on its 0-18 season record. The Bluejays go into the bout with a 21-1 record after their 38-29 non-league win over St. Paul (St. Paul, NE).
