The Lanesboro Burros (Lanesboro, MN) basketball felled the visiting Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), 69-58 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Burros (15-5) will now prepare for their test against Houston (Houston, MN). The Hurricanes go into the A Section 1 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Houston thwarted Schaeffer Academy (Rochester, MN), 67-41, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 5-15 record. They play next when they travel to Dover-Eyota for a AA Section 1 test on Thursday, February 9. Lewiston-Altura will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 66-27 league loss to Lourdes (Rochester, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 10-11.
