The Largo Lions basketball team (Upper Marlboro, MD), was overwhelmed 76-15 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD)

The Clippers now possess a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Friendly for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle on Thursday, February 9. Oxon Hill will confront a Patriots team coming off a 47-38 league win over Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 11-7.

The Lions (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD). The Wolverines come into the Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A battle with a 6-10 record. In their last battle, Potomac was overwhelmed by Surrattsville (Clinton, MD), 70-23, in a league battle.
