The Shawnee Mission South Raiders basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Lawrence Lions to 57 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lawrence Free State for a Sunflower contest on Friday, February 10. Shawnee Mission South will meet a Firebirds team coming off a 55-17 non-league loss to Olathe South (Olathe, KS). The Firebirds record now stands at 0-14.

The Lions (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS). The Ravens enter the Sunflower contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Olathe Northwest nudged Mill Valley (Shawnee, KS), 49-22, in a non-league contest.
