The Moriah Vikings basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Schroon Lake Wildcats to 52 in the Vikings non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to AuSable Valley for a Section 7 Champlain Valley II contest on Tuesday, February 7. Moriah will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 57-30 league win over Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 8-5.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Willsboro Central Warriors (Willsboro, NY) in a Section 7 Mountain and Valley II bout, on Wednesday, February 8. Schroon Lake will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 40-30 league loss to Chazy (Chazy, NY).
