The Waterford Wolverines basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting South Milwaukee Rockets to 41 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westosha Central for a Southern Lakes contest on Friday, February 10. Waterford will meet a Falcons team coming off a 76-42 non-league loss to Oregon (Oregon, WI). The Falcons record now stands at 6-13.
The Rockets (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against West Allis Central (West Allis, WI). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-18 record. In their last contest, West Allis Central was nudged by New Berlin Eisenhower (New Berlin, WI), 76-37, in a league contest.
