Tecumseh Indians (Tecumseh, MI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI), 52-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tecumseh upgrades its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Indians host Adrian (Adrian, MI) to play the Maples in a Southeastern - White bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Maples come into the bout with a record of 2-13. Adrian lost 56-41 in their recent league bout against Pinckney (Pinckney, MI)

Next up, the Warriors play the East Lansing Trojans (East Lansing, MI) in a Capital Area - Blue bout, on Thursday, February 9. Waverly will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 3-11 record after their 77-48 non-league loss to Williamston (Williamston, MI).
