Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA), 48-31 in a league bout.

With the win, Menlo-Atherton upgrades its record to 21-1 on the season. The Bears host Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 15-6. Burlingame won 55-37 in their recent league challenge against Sequoia (Redwood City, CA)

Next up, the FIGHTING KNIGHTS confront the Woodside Wildcats (Woodside, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. Hillsdale will attempt to improve on its 14-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 53-44 league loss to Aragon (San Mateo, CA).
