North Carolina High School Basketball - West Cabarrus can't hold off Hough

The Hough Huskies basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines to 43 in the Huskies non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hopewell for a non-league contest on Friday, February 10. Hough will battle a Titans team coming off a 63-37 non-league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC). The Titans record now stands at 3-12.

The Wolverines (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC). The Ragin' Bulls come into the non-league contest with a 15-4 record. In their last contest, Hickory Ridge edged Olympic (Charlotte, NC), 52-30, in a non-league contest.
