With the victory, Illiana Christian upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign.

Next up, the Bearcats play the Morgan Township Cherokees (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Wheeler will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Cherokees come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 64-26 non-league loss to Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN).
