Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Roanoke Catholic Celtics (Roanoke, VA), 46-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Miller School of Albemarle upgrades its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Bishops in a bout on Thursday, February 9. The Bishops come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Virginia Episcopal School won 45-24 in their recent league bout against Carlisle (Axton, VA)

Next up, the Celtics play the Virginia Episcopal School Bishops (Lynchburg, VA) in a bout, on Tuesday, February 14. Roanoke Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
