In Tuesday's league match, the host Steward Spartans basketball team scored a decisive 59-23 triumph over the Walsingham Academy Trojans.
In their next game, the Spartans meet the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA) in a match, on Thursday, February 9. Steward will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Ambassadors enter the match with a 11-7 record after their 63-58 league loss to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA).
With the defeat, Walsingham Academy moves to 8-11 on the year. The Trojans host Hampton Roads Academy (Newport News, VA) to meet the Navigators in a match on Friday, February 10. The Navigators enter the match with a record of 4-7.
