In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Toombs County Bulldogs soccer squad scored a close 5-1 triumph over the Jeff Davis Yellowjackets.
The Bulldogs (3-0) will now prepare for their battle against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors come into the 2A Area 3 battle with a 1-1 record.
The Yellowjackets (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Appling County by Wayne County (Jesup, GA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
