San Diego Jewish Academy Lions (San Diego, CA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Canyon Hills Rattlers (San Diego, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Del Lago Academy Firebirds (Escondido, CA) in a Pacific challenge, on Wednesday, February 8. San Diego Jewish Academy will attempt to better on its 5-8 season record. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 1-1 non-league El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA).

The Rattlers now have a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Madison for a City - Central challenge on Thursday, February 9. Canyon Hills will confront a Warhawks team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Morse (San Diego, CA). The Warhawks record now stands at 5-12.
