Kentucky High School Basketball - Adair County thwarts Metcalfe County

The Adair County Indians (Columbia, KY) basketball knocked off the host Metcalfe County Hornets (Edmonton, KY), 77-68 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Indians (19-4) will now prepare for their test against Marion County (Lebanon, KY). The Knights go into the District 20 test with a 3-17 record. In their last test, Marion County went down by Bardstown (Bardstown, KY), 51-49, in a non-league test.

The Hornets now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Somerset for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. Metcalfe County will encounter a Briar Jumpers squad coming off a 70-37 non-league loss to Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Briar Jumpers record now stands at 15-8.
