New York High School Basketball - Mekeel Christian Academy can't hold off Albany Academy for Boys

The Albany Academy for Boys Cadets basketball team scored 69 points and restricted the host Mekeel Christian Academy Lions to 63 in the Cadets non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Cadets now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cardinal Hayes for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. Albany Academy for Boys will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 80-68 non-league win over Xaverian (Brooklyn, NY). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-10.

The Lions (12-2) will now prepare for their contest against Utica Academy of Science (Utica, NY). The Atoms come into the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Utica Academy of Science edged Graphics (New York, NY), 79-69, in a non-league contest.
