The Bushnell-Prairie City Spartans basketball team (Bushnell, IL), was overwhelmed 53-25 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Augusta Southeastern Suns (Augusta, IL)

The Suns now possess a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hamilton/Warsaw for a West Central battle on Friday, February 9.

The Spartans (11-17) will now prepare for their battle against Illini West (Carthage, IL). The Chargers come into the Prairieland battle with a 17-10 record. In their last battle, Illini West trounced Canton (Canton, MO), 60-45, in a non-league battle.
