Colon Magi (Colon, MI) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Homer Trojans (Homer, MI), 51-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Colon upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Magi travel to Climax-Scotts (Climax, MI) to clash with the Panthers in a Southern Central bout on Friday, February 9. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Climax-Scotts won 53-41 in their recent non-league bout against Quincy (Quincy, MI)

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Addison Panthers (Addison, MI) in a Cascades bout, on Friday, February 9. Homer will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-13 record after their 75-42 league loss to Hanover-Horton (Horton, MI).
