Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Irondequoit Eagles (Rochester, NY), 60-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fairport upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Victor (Victor, NY) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Section 5 Monroe 1 bout on Friday, February 9. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Victor lost 81-57 in their recent non-league bout against Bishop Timon-St. Jude (Buffalo, NY)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Brighton Bruins (Rochester, NY) in a Section 5 Monroe 2 bout, on Friday, February 9. Irondequoit will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record.
