The Haddam-Killingworth Cougars (Higganum, CT) basketball crushed the host Hale Ray Noises (Moodus, CT), 74-42 in Wednesday's league test.
The Cougars (11-5) will now prepare for their test against Valley Regional (Deep River, CT). The Warriors go into the Shoreline test with a 4-12 record. In their last test, Valley Regional was trounced by Cromwell (Cromwell, CT), 59-44, in a league test.
The Noises now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Coginchaug Regional for a Shoreline test on Friday, February 9. Hale Ray will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 68-49 league win over Old Saybrook (Old Saybrook, CT). The Blue Devils record now stands at 12-5.
