North Carolina High School Basketball - Mount Pleasant falls to Piedmont

In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Piedmont Panthers basketball team scored a good 62-47 triumph over the Mount Pleasant Tigers.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Parkwood Wolf Pack (Monroe, NC) in a 2A/3A Rocky River match, on Tuesday, February 13. Piedmont will attempt to better on its 14-8 season record. The Wolf Pack enter the match with a 13-8 record after their 56-37 league loss to Monroe (Monroe, NC).

With the defeat, Mount Pleasant moves to 10-11 on the year. The Tigers host North Stanly (New London, NC) to meet the Comets in a 1A/2A Yadkin Valley match on Friday, February 9.
