Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the West Geauga Wolverines (Chesterland, OH) and the visiting Perry Pirates (Perry, OH), witnessed West Geauga's basketball squad nip Perry by a margin of 50-47.

The Wolverines (13-6) will now prepare for their test against Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Greenmen go into the non-league test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Aurora was tipped by Copley (Copley, OH), 63-48, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 9-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lakeside for a Chagrin Valley - Lake test on Friday, February 9. Perry will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 96-50 non-league win over Conneaut (Conneaut, OH). The Dragons record now stands at 4-11.
