In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Ridgway Elker (Ridgway, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Smethport Hubbers (Smethport, PA), by a margin of 59-30.

The Elker (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Brockway (Brockway, PA). The Rovers go into the Allegheny Mountain - Southern outing with a 2-17 record. In their last outing, Brockway was trounced by Kane (Kane, PA), 50-32, in a non-league outing.

The Hubbers now own a 2-18 record. They play next when they host Otto-Eldred for a North Tier outing on Friday, February 9. Smethport will clash with a Terrors squad coming off a 51-27 non-league win over DuBois Central Catholic (DuBois, PA). The Terrors record now stands at 19-1.
