Sumter Central Jaguars (York, AL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southside Panthers (Selma, AL), 84-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Sumter Central upgrades its record to 18-3 on the season. The Jaguars host Randolph County (Wedowee, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 10. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-14. Randolph County lost 62-46 in their recent non-league bout against Beulah (Valley, AL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Beulah Bobcats (Valley, AL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 10. Southside will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 15-8 record after their 62-46 non-league win over Randolph County (Wedowee, AL).
