The Archie Whirlwinds basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Leeton Bulldogs to 35 in the Whirlwinds non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Whirlwinds now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harrisonville for a non-league contest on Friday, February 9. Archie will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-34 league win over Odessa (Odessa, MO). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-14.

The Bulldogs (12-10) will now prepare for their contest against Midway (Cleveland, MO). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Midway was routed by Lone Jack (Lone Jack, MO), 52-24, in a non-league contest.
