Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Coal City Coalers (Coal City, IL) and the host Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL), saw Coal City's basketball squad knock off Dwight by a tally of 41-32.

With the victory, Coal City improves its record to 22-3 on the campaign.

Next up, the Trojans play the Marquette Crusaders (Ottawa, IL) in a Tri-County challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Dwight will attempt to improve on its 13-16 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 17-10 record after their 68-59 non-league loss to Yorkville Christian (Yorkville, IL).
