Coon Rapids Cardinals (Coon Rapids, MN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons (Plymouth, MN), 68-61 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Coon Rapids upgrades its record to 9-11 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Cloquet (Cloquet, MN) to play the Lumberjacks in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Lumberjacks come into the bout with a record of 13-10. Cloquet won 82-26 in their recent league bout against Denfeld (Duluth, MN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) in a AAAA Section 6 bout, on Friday, February 9. Robbinsdale Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record. The Lakers come into the bout with a 18-5 record after their 70-20 non-league win over Edison (Minneapolis, MN).
