Fallston Cougars (Fallston, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting John Carroll Patriots (Bel Air, MD), 44-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fallston upgrades its record to 15-4 on the season. The Cougars host Rising Sun (North East, MD) to play the Tigers in a Upper Chesapeake Bay - Susquehanna bout on Thursday, February 8. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 14-3.

Next up, the Patriots play the Mount de Sales Academy Sailors (Catonsville, MD) in a IAAM B bout, on Friday, February 9. John Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record. The Sailors go into the bout with a 18-4 record after their 53-27 non-league win over Winters Mill (Westminster, MD).
