North Carolina High School Basketball - Franklin Academy winner over River Mill

February 7, 2024: Wake Forest, NC 27587

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Franklin Academy Patriots (Wake Forest, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), by a margin of 47-27.

The Patriots (11-11) will now prepare for their outing against Falls Lake (Creedmoor, NC). The Firebirds go into the 1A/2A Super Six outing with a 22-2 record. In their last outing, Falls Lake thwarted NCSSM: Durham (Durham, NC), 55-37, in a league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they travel to Ascend Leadership for a 1A Central Tar Heel outing on Friday, February 9. River Mill will clash with a Aviators squad coming off a 39-25 league loss to Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Aviators record now stands at 3-12.
