Kenwood Bluebirds (Baltimore, MD) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Franklin Indians (Reisterstown, MD), 66-19 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kenwood upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Bluebirds travel to North Harford (Pylesville, MD) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 11-5. North Harford won 38-22 in their recent league bout against Joppatowne (Joppa, MD)

Next up, the Indians play the Overlea Falcons (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 12. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 54-23 non-league loss to Sparrows Point (Baltimore, MD).
