The Little Wound Mustangs (Kyle, SD) basketball felled the host St. Francis Indian Warriors (St. Francis, SD), 68-59 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (9-7) will now prepare for their test against Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD). The Golddiggers go into the non-league test with a 0-17 record. In their last test, Lead-Deadwood was beaten by Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD), 71-13, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to White River for a non-league test on Friday, February 9. St. Francis Indian will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 78-21 non-league win over Pine Ridge (Pine Ridge, SD). The Tigers record now stands at 12-4.
