The Thayer Academy Tigers edged the visiting Governor's Academy Governors ice hockey squad by a tally of 3-2 in Wednesday's league bout.

With the victory, Thayer Academy betters its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Berwick Academy (South Berwick, ME) to confront the Bulldogs in a bout on Friday, February 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 6-10. Berwick Academy lost 10-0 in their recent league bout against St. George's (Middletown, RI)

The Governors now have a 7-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tabor Academy for a bout on Saturday, February 10. Governor's Academy will confront a Seawolves squad coming off a 2-0 league win over St. Paul's (Concord, NH). The Seawolves record now stands at 12-6.
